Previs for Film & Animation: Jumpstart Your Career

ONLINE GPOUP CLASSES

Do you dream of working in the film or animation industry? Here’s your unique chance to step behind the scenes of one of the most exciting creative fields.
Previsualization is a crucial stage in film and animation production. No major project moves forward without previs, especially when it comes to action scenes. This is where key elements of a scene are planned: camera movement, character placement, editing rhythm, and the overall visual language of the project. Because of this, the previs artist profession is becoming increasingly in demand.
This course is designed for those who want to learn what previsualization is in film and animation. Students will master the basic techniques of previs creation and develop their first full-fledged project, which they can add to their portfolio.
This course is your opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of film and animation production and discover if this profession is the right fit for you.

FAQ

All classes are held online via Zoom, so your child can join from anywhere — all they need is a computer and internet connection.

During our one-on-one Zoom sessions, the teacher works directly with your child and gives them their full attention. Your child can ask questions at any moment and get immediate feedback. Every step is guided with care — the teacher sees exactly what your child is doing and gently helps them stay on track.
This format leads to faster progress, builds confidence, and helps children truly enjoy
the learning process.

Lessons take place one-on-one twice a week, at a time that works best for you. You can choose any available slot that fits your schedule.

We believe every child should have the freedom to learn at their own pace, without pressure or deadlines. That’s why our course doesn’t have a fixed duration — your child can take the time they need to feel confident and fully bring their animation projects to life.

If your child is 10 or older, knows how to use a computer at a basic level, and is curious
about how animations are made — this course is a perfect fit.
They don’t need to be an artist or know how to draw — characters can be created using Leonardo AI by simply describing in words how they should look. For example: “a happy robot with big eyes” or “a girl wizard in a blue cloak.”
The animation itself is done in Cartoon Animator — a program with a friendly, easy-to-learn interface that kids pick up quickly. Everything is intuitive: just like a puppet show, they move the character’s body parts frame by frame to bring it to life.
What matters most is imagination, curiosity, and the desire to create. We’ll guide them
through the rest!

Cartoon Animator is the animation software we use in our one-on-one lessons. It’s specifically designed to make animation easy and accessible — even for those with no drawing skills.
The program has a simple, friendly interface that kids and teens can quickly learn.
Animation is done using a bone-rigging system, where your child moves parts of the character’s body to bring it to life, frame by frame. It’s intuitive, engaging, and a lot of fun.
Another big plus — Cartoon Animator is much more affordable than most other animation programs, which helps keep your family budget in check without compromising the quality of learning.

At our school, one-on-one lessons are taught by an instructor who combines real
industry experience in animation with strong teaching skills. They don’t just know how
animation works — they’ve actually been part of creating animated films and projects
themselves.
Thanks to this, the teacher speaks to the child in the language of a real profession, but
does so in a way that’s clear, gentle, and respectful of the student’s age and skill level.
This approach not only helps children learn animation, but also encourages creativity,
builds confidence, and inspires a genuine love for storytelling.

To ensure a comfortable and high-quality learning experience, we strongly recommend
having a stable internet connection.
This is important to prevent interruptions in video or sound during lessons, so your child
can fully focus on the process without being distracted by technical issues.
A reliable connection is especially crucial for one-on-one classes, where there is
constant interaction with the teacher and frequent screen sharing.

We understand that sometimes a course may not turn out to be what you expected.

That’s why we offer a refund — as long as you let us know at least 48 hours before the second lesson.

Unfortunately, refunds are not available after that point.

Since one-on-one lessons are scheduled in advance and the teacher reserves that time
specifically for your child, missed sessions are not refundable or rescheduled.

Animation isn’t just about “drawing cartoons”. During the lessons, your child develops a wide range of valuable skills that will be useful both in everyday life and in any future creative path.

They start thinking creatively — inventing stories, characters, imagining new worlds, and learning how to express their ideas.

At the same time, they build planning skills: learning to break projects into steps, follow a process, and see things through to the end.

They begin to understand story logic — how characters interact, how emotions are shown, and how to tell a story without words.

They develop patience — because animation takes time, focus, and the ability not to give up halfway through.

They also explore the technical side — working with software, learning how to animate and edit video.

They learn self-expression through movement — how a character moves, and how that movement reflects their personality and emotions.

And of course, they develop attention to detail — noticing how a scene is composed, how a character moves, and what makes the animation feel alive.

First, your child will be able to create truly unique content — animated videos stand out
from regular footage and instantly grab attention.

Second, they’ll learn how to develop their own personal style — original characters,
stories, and a visual approach that helps them stand out and be recognizable.

Plus, from the very beginning, they’ll pick up editing and video production skills, so even
hobby projects can look polished and professional.

They can start their own animation blog — telling stories, doing reviews, or simply
sharing ideas through animated videos.
And of course, these skills are perfect for working with trends — creating fun short
animations for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or Reels.
